Note! This pattern has no seam allowances. Add seam allowance to the side seams and the bottom.
There is fold-over elastic finishing on the leg and waist openings. Side seams are sewn with a serger.
Make these briefs from a fabric that stretches both lengthwise and crosswise. Cotton blend jerseys and Lycra work fine.

How to Sew Hipster Panties
1. Finish the front end of the lining piece by serging.
2. Overlap the pieces in the following order: FRONT right side up – BACK right side down – LINING right side down.
3. Stitch along the bottom edge. Use a straight stitch or a zigzag stitch. Turn the pieces into the correct position and pin the lining in place.
4. Finish the leg openings by zigzagging, using fold-over elastic (FOE). Test the FOE first on a piece of fabric. The finished edges should be flat, like in the picture.
5. Finish the side seams. Use the serger or the zigzag stitch.
6. Finish the waist with fold-over elastic.
